County Information

Being a dual office, the Clerk-Treasurer has numerous responsibilities, including but not limited, to the collection of real property taxes, the issuing of marriage licenses and fictitious firm names, providing a public notary, performing Oaths of Office, overseeing Medical/Indigent services, Voter Registration and election procedures and serving as Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners. Nevada State Statutes and County ordinances set many of the responsibilities of the Clerk-Treasurer. It is the responsibility of the Clerk-Treasurer to receive, disburse and invest County funds. This office is charged with conducting the elections for Mineral County residents during Primary Elections in June and General Elections in November and any special elections that may be called thereafter. The list of registered voters is also maintained by the Clerks-Treasurer's Office. It is our policy in the Clerk-Treasurer's office to provide the residents and visitors alike with the friendliest and most efficient service possible.
