County Information

We are located on the second floor of the Lander County Courthouse and Administration building. The Clerk's Office performs a variety of duties to aid the public and public boards. We are responsible for performing a number of non-judicial tasks, including issuance of marriage licenses, filing fictitious firm names, swearing in of Notaries Public, and marriage officiant filings. The Clerk's Office is also responsible for conducting all County Elections and maintaining the voter registration database for our county. To register to vote, please visit our office and be sure to bring your Nevada ID or you may register online by clicking here. The County Clerk is the Ex Officio Clerk for all County Commissioner meetings. Click here to be directed to Commission Meeting information. Note: The Clerk's office no longer administers District Court functions. Their new office can be reached by calling (775) 635-1332 or 635-1334.
